Founders Awards Aims and Purpose

Each of the four Founders Merit Awards is intended to:

• Recognize the meritorious services rendered by members for chapter or National leadership;
• Encourage members to participate actively in HFMA functions and chapter or National leadership roles;
• Develop a stimulus for sustained efforts by members for growth and success within HFMA;
• Retain the interest of members who serve actively so their knowledge and experience will be a resource for HFMA;
• Create an award of true merit that can be highly cherished in the future.
