Chapter Educational Programming
The goal of the Education Committee is to provide HFMA regional membership with high quality, affordable education. In an industry such as health care, the environment continues to be both challenging and forever changing. By providing timely and targeted educational sessions that are locally accessible and member affordable, we help create the most knowledgeable and informed current and future leaders in health care.
There is a rich regional history in Rochester that surrounds the very formation of HFMA and the recognition of excellence by receiving awards such as the Helen Yerger. Many Yergers are received each year by the contributions of members that serve committees such as Education.
Based on surveys from our members, and through the hard work and commitment of the education committee members we have produced many successful educational events. We have collaborated with major health systems and with major health plans in our region to bring the best education to you.
We draw from both regional and national experts to produce timely and effective educational sessions. Watch for "Save the date" emails to be sure you don't miss these sessions.
